My musical training began in Riga, Latvia, at the Emils Darzins Music School and continued at the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music and the Odessa National Academy of Music. I moved to Paris in 1993 to study piano pedagogy at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris Alfred Cortot, in the class of Germaine Mounier.
My teaching career began in Ukraine, where I taught at the Odessa state music school and later served as piano professor at the Uzhhorod conservatory, accompanying choirs and chamber ensembles along the way. Since 1993 I have run independent studios in France, Belgium and the United States, and I have taught piano and music theory at several local music schools in France.
I teach in English, French, Russian.
